Some Time to Reflect

Good morning,

I hope you are each well today. I appreciate you all and the support and creativity we share here on WordPress. I love reading your work and experiences and sharing mine with you.

My attention, over the last few months, has been divided and it has been difficult to bring my full self to writing. Itโ€™s the only way I truly like to write. Because of this, I have decided to take a short break from writing.

This said, I will still be reading your wonderful work. I look forward to hearing your experiences and seeing your creativity.

Thank you all for reading and for understanding this need to reset my focus.

I appreciate you and am sending you lots of care and my genuine gratitude for reading and sharing your thoughts and time here on Perspective on Trauma.

Deepest care,

LaDonna

  1. Hi LaDonna, I hope that all is well with you. I always look forward to your monthly posts as they give me lots to think about and to reflect on.

Thanks for all that you provide to us, strangers from afar connected through this blogging community.

I hope your rest and break provides you with a recharge! Enjoy the summer with your family!

  2. A reset can be the thing you need. I have been battling to write my manuscript this last month and I’m running out of time in which to take breaks. Usually my solution is to take a month’s sabatical off internet and meld with the keyboard but that was last year when i wasn’t studyn. This year, that’s not an option.

  4. Girl, I don’t know how I missed this post, and I am so sorry I did. Would you believe that I wrote “A Blogging Siesta” (https://frombehindthepen.wordpress.com/2022/07/05/a-blogging-siesta/) earlier this month about this very same topic? Life happens and we all go through some adversity that tries to take us out. I am glad that you recognized your need to make this decision to press your pause button. Come back stronger and at peace. โ˜ฎ Hugs and smooches my dear friend! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿฅฐ

  5. Hi LaDonna, I’m just seeing this now. Larry and I have been traveling for the last several months and I’m losing my mind, let alone losing track of the blogs I love. I hope the break is doing you well. And I’m reaching out if you need to rant, bounce ideas, or just toss a few thoughts my way. My email is cheryloreglia@aol.com (I know, it’s shocking that AOL still exists). I extend this hand only because when I want to stop writing is when I’m feeling depressed, sad, overwhelmed, angry, and I see no exit. Please reach out if needed and if you are truly hibernating for a spell I wish you all the best. Wrapping you in love and hugs, C
